We’ve drawn lines. We’ve made circles. And from all the emails and chat messages I’m getting, it’s heartening to see how something is opening up in you as you create “mindlessly.”
Here are some shares from yesterday.

As you can see, everyone is interpreting these prompts in a way that feels good to them. I will reiterate that there is no wrong or right way to do this.
There’s only one way: your way. So, have fun with it!
While I enjoy getting these photos and I know many of you are quietly doing this creative play on your own, I do think a lot of you are seeing these prompts and procrastinating. Today, I am asking you to introspect:
What is holding you back?
What is stopping you from starting?
Maybe you really do not have time. Which makes this even more pertinent — to make time for your self when the busyness of life feels too much.
With that gentle nudge, let’s go into Day 3, where we let go even more.

Today’s Prompt: Marks
Marks are the simplest form of creative expression. They don’t have to mean anything. They don’t have to look like anything. They just are.
What kind of marks?
• Dots that scatter
• Dashes that dance
• Crosshatches that weave
• Squiggles that meander
• Random patterns
• Smudges
• Blots
No pressure to form shapes or patterns unless you want to. The focus is the process, not the product. Grab whatever’s near you — a pencil’s edge, a paintbrush’s tip, your finger, even the corner of a card. Any tool can make a mark.
Put your phone on Do Not Disturb for 5 minutes. Let your hand move. Let your mind rest.
Notice how different marks feel to make — the quick tap of dots, the sweep of dashes, the freedom of random strokes. There’s no destination, just the journey of each mark.

These are just two ways to interpret the prompt — yours will be entirely your own.
The Reply Ritual
After you’re done, if you feel like it:
Leave your mark in the comments with a single word about how it felt
Share a photo of your marks meeting the world
Or simply sit with the joy of having made your mark today, even if just for yourself
No rules. No right or wrong.
See you tomorrow!
Mansi.
